Abstract
Tradicionalne metode preverjanja prisotnosti, kot so ročno beleženje ali QR kode, so podvržene manipulaciji in ne zagotavljajo zadostne varnosti ter zasebnosti uporabnikov. Magistrsko delo naslavlja te izzive z razvojem decentraliziranega sistema za preverjanje fizične prisotnosti, ki temelji na tehnologiji verige blokov in ničelno spoznavnih dokazih (zk-SNARK). Sistem integrira ZoKrates ogrodje za generiranje zasebnih dokazov, geolokacijsko verifikacijo z GPS koordinatami, Ethereum pametne pogodbe ter hibridni pristop k shranjevanju podatkov. Implementirani so bili večplatformski uporabniški vmesniki (spletna in mobilna aplikacija) z različnimi načini potrjevanja prisotnosti. Razvita rešitev predstavlja funkcionalen in robusten sistem, ki omogoča varno ter transparentno preverjanje prisotnosti brez razkrivanja osebnih podatkov uporabnikov.

Title:Design and implementation of a decentralized system for proof of presence using zero-knowledge proofs
Abstract:
Traditional attendance verification methods, such as manual logging or QR codes, are susceptible to manipulation and do not provide sufficient security and user privacy. This master's thesis addresses these challenges by developing a decentralized system for verifying physical presence, based on blockchain technology and zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARK). The system integrates the ZoKrates framework for generating private proofs, geolocation verification with GPS coordinates, Ethereum smart contracts, and a hybrid approach to data storage. Multiplatform user interfaces (web and mobile applications) with various attendance confirmation methods have been implemented. The developed solution represents a functional and robust system that enables secure and transparent attendance verification without revealing user's personal data.
