Zasnova in izdelava hidravlične ročne proteze

Abstract
Najrazličnejše vrste tehnike so prisotne v vseh branžah, tudi v protetiki. Proteze so medicinski pripomočki, namenjeni nadomeščanju izgubljenih udov ali njihovih delov. Posamezne izvedbe ročnih protez imajo različen namen uporabe in prinašajo različno dolgo uporabno dobo. Prenos energije znotraj tovrstnih naprav se lahko izvaja preko mehanskih sistemov, električnih komponent, pnevmatike ali hidravlike. Slednja se zaradi zmožnosti doseganja velikih sil z visoko natančnostjo vedno pogosteje uporablja v vse manjših sistemih. V okviru te diplomske naloge je bila zasnovana in izdelana hidravlična ročna proteza, ki je bila dizajnirana na podlagi obstoječe mioelektrične proteze. Izdelali smo prototip, na katerem smo izvedli preizkus delovanja. Ugotovili smo, da proteza dosega zahtevano funkcionalnost. Rezultati testiranja so pokazali tudi nekaj pomanjkljivosti njene izvedbe. S prvim prototipom nam je uspelo doseči najvišjo vrednost tlaka 108 bar, katera je nekoliko nižja od pričakovane. S tem razlogom smo izdelali načrt za odpravo ugotovljenih pomanjkljivosti, podali smo tudi predloge za nadaljnje delo in razvoj.

Title:Design and development of a hydraulic hand prosthesis
Abstract:
Various types of technology are present across all industries, including rosthetics. Prostheses are medical devices intended to replace lost limbs or parts of them. Individual designs of hand prostheses serve different purposes and offer varying service lifespans. Energy transfer within such devices can be achieved through mechanical systems, electrical components, pneumatics, or hydraulics. Hydraulic systems are increasingly applied in compact devices due to their ability to generate high forces with great precision. This thesis presents the design and manufacturing of a hydraulic hand prosthesis, developed on the basis of an existing myoelectric prosthesis. A prototype was built and tested for functionality. The results showed that the prosthesis achieved the required functionality, though some design shortcomings were identified. With the first prototype, we managed to reach a maximum pressure of 108 bar, which is slightly below expectations. For this reason, a plan was developed to address the identified shortcomings, along with proposals for further work and development.
