The thesis attempts to analyse the ideological and organizational principles of the Slovenian and French partisan movements during World War II. A comparison of both follows, attempting to show how the organization and ideological development of the movements results in a higher or lower level of revolutionary activity – that is, the influence of these two aspects on the change or survival of the socio-economic system after the war.
