Diplomsko delo obsega poskus pregledne predstavitve zgodovine rimsko-judovskih vojn in z njimi povezanih arheoloških najdišč. V delu so predstavljena najdišča, izbrana na podlagi njihovega pomena (Jotapata, Masada, Betar, Herodium) in njihove zanimivosti z arheološkega in zgodovinskega vidika (Jama groze, Gamla, Seforis).

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to present some of the archaeological sites and history of the Roman-Jewish wars. This thesis presents archaeological sites, selected for the quantity of literary sources, their importance (Jotapata, Masada, Betar, Herodium), and due to their interesting properties within the archaeological and historical context of the wars (Cave of horrors, Gamla, Seforis).
