Abstract
Orodja za avtomatizacijo gradnje programske opreme predstavljajo ključen del procesa razvoja programske opreme v prevedenih, sistemskih programskih jezikih. Na trgu so danes na voljo številna orodja te vrste in raziskave kažejo, da razvijalci med njimi težko izbirajo. V tem diplomskem delu so različna orodja za avtomatizacijo gradnje primerjana po kvalitativnih kriterijih, ki merijo uporabniško izkušnjo in ponujene funkcionalnosti, ter kvantitativnih kriterijih, ki merijo učinkovitost orodja. Kvantitativno ovrednotenje je izvedeno na realnem projektu iz industrije. Diplomsko delo podaja priporočila za izbiro orodja za avtomatizacijo gradnje glede na obravnavane kriterije in potrebe uporabnika ter analizira povezanost med kvalitativnimi in kvantitativnimi značilnostmi.

Title:Comparison of Tools for Software Build Automation
Abstract:
Build automation tools represent a crucial part of the software development process in compiled, low-level programming languages. Nowadays, there are several such tools available on the market and surveys show that developers find choosing the right tool to be difficult. In this thesis, various build automation tools are compared by qualitative criteria, which measure user experience and featurefulness, as well as quantitative criteria, which measure efficiency. The quantitative assessment was performed on a real software industry project. The thesis offers recommendations for choosing a build automation tool, based on the assessed criteria and user needs, and analyses the correlation between qualitative and quantitative traits.
