Analiza igralnih dogajanj na finalnih tekmah moškega svetovnega prvenstva U19 in U21 v rokometu leta 2023 : magistrsko delo

Namen in cilji: Namen magistrske naloge je ugotoviti razlike in podobnosti med tekmama za prvo mesto v starostnih kategorijah U19 in U21 na svetovnem prvenstvu v rokometu leta 2023. Cilj je bil zbrati podatke o pojavljanju strukturnih elementov in situacij ter jih statistično obdelati. S pomočjo dobljenih podatkov smo želeli ugotoviti razlike v modelu igre med ekipama U19 in U21. Metode: V raziskavi smo analizirali finalni tekmi med Španijo in Dansko v kategoriji U19 in med Madžarsko in Nemčijo v kategoriji U21. Analizirali smo skupaj 82 kazalnikov, od tega 57 spremenljivk strukturnih elementov in 25 spremenljivk skupinskih dejavnosti in igralnih situacij. Spremenljivke strukturnih elementov smo razdelili na aktivnosti v napadu (36), aktivnosti v obrambi (7) in parametre vratarjev (14). Zbrali smo vse uradne podatke in jim dodali podatke, ki smo jih pridobili z opazovalno analizo, uporabo taktičnih skic in frekvenčnih tabel. Ugotovitve dela: V primerjavi obrambnih pristopov sta ekipi kategoriji U21 prikazali višjo učinkovitost pri uporabi obrambe 6:0, medtem ko sta se ekipi v kategoriji U19 uspešneje branili z bolj tvegano, a bolj dinamično formacijo 5:1. U21 je na postavljeno obrambo igrala bolj strukturirano, z več streli z razdalje in boljšo realizacijo. Nasprotno sta ekipi U19 več napadali ena na ena, kar jim je omogočilo več strelov iz črte šestmetrskega prostora, a z nižjo učinkovitostjo. Vse ekipe so učinkovitejše igrale v razmerju 6:5 kot 7:6. U21 so bile bolje taktično pripravljene na igro 7:6, v postavitvi 6:6 brez vratarja pa niso zadele niti enkrat, kar kaže na večjo previdnost in zavedanje tveganja. V finalu U19 je bila igra močno osredotočena na individualne akcije in igro dva na dva. U21 ekipi sta več uporabljali osnovno vtekanje kril, medtem ko sta ekipi U19 večkrat izvajali vračanje krila po vtekanju.

• Title: Analysis of game events in the final matches of the 2023 men’s u19 and u 21 handball world championship

Abstract

Namen in cilji: Namen magistrske naloge je ugotoviti razlike in podobnosti med tekmama za prvo mesto v starostnih kategorijah U19 in U21 na svetovnem prvenstvu v Purpose and Objectives: The purpose of this master’s thesis is to identify the differences and similarities between the final matches in the U19 and U21 age categories at the 2023 Handball World Championship. The objective was to collect data on the occurrence of structural elements and game situations and to analyse them statistically. Based on the collected data, we aimed to determine the differences in game models between U19 and U21 teams. Methods: In this study, we analysed the final matches between Spain and Denmark in the U19 category and between Hungary and Germany in the U21 category. A total of 82 indicators were analysed, including 57 variables related to structural elements and 25 variables related to group activities and game situations. The structural element variables were divided into offensive activities (36), defensive activities (7), and goalkeeper parameters (14). We gathered all official data and supplemented it with information obtained through observational analysis, tactical diagrams, and frequency tables. Findings: In comparing defensive approaches, the U21 teams demonstrated higher efficiency when using the 6:0 defensive formation, whereas the U19 teams defended more successfully with the more aggressive and dynamic 5:1 formation. The U21 teams played more structured offense against a set defense, with more long-range shots and better conversion rates. In contrast, the U19 teams relied more heavily on one-on-one attacks, resulting in more shots from the six-meter line but with lower effectiveness. All teams performed more efficiently in 6 vs. 5 scenarios than in 7 vs. 6 situations. The U21 teams were tactically better prepared for 7 vs. 6 play, while they did not score in any 6 vs. 6 situations without a goalkeeper, indicating greater caution and risk awareness. The U19 final was heavily focused on individual actions and two-on-two play. The U21 teams more frequently employed basic wing penetrations, whereas the U19 teams more often used wing returns after penetration.
