Digital art is becoming an indispensable part of modern education, as it stimulates the development of creativity, critical thinking and digital competences of students. Despite its great potential, its role in curricula is still negligible. The purpose of the master's thesis is to analyze the current state of use of digital art in education, its usefulness, advantages, and the challenges that teachers are faced with when integrating it into the educational process.
The research problem is based on the gap between the potential of digital art and its actual integration in the classroom. We believe that digital art can improve the quality of teaching and encourage innovative approaches to learning, but its implementation requires appropriate support and training of teachers.
The empirical part used a descriptive research method with a qualitative research approach. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with subject teachers of fine arts in primary schools. This allowed us to obtain in-depth information about their practices, challenges and effective strategies in teaching digital art.
The expected results of the research showed the impact of digital art on the learning process and what are the most effective methods for its integration into education. The theoretical part of the research consists of analyses of contemporary approaches to digital art in education, while the purpose of the practical part was to create guidelines and recommendations for teachers and educational institutions for better integration of digital art practices into curricula.
