Corporate identity plays a crucial role in the modern business world, enabling companies to
effectively introduce themselves to new clients, express their identity, and expand their
recognition. It is also vital to differentiate from similar organizations and create a recognizable
name internationally. This thesis details the development of the corporate identity for the Office
of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth, which sought submissions through an open call to promote
youth work. The goal was to create an image that would effectively promote youth work and be
recognizable among professionals and the wider public.
The theoretical part of the thesis defines the key elements of corporate identity, such as the logo,
color scheme choices, typography, and the use of this identity on various types of printed
materials. The experimental section presents the entire process of creating the corporate identity,
including the presentation of the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth, its requirements and
desires, an analysis of various organizations working with youth, and a survey on color
combinations of the graphic part of the logo. Throughout the whole process of designing the
corporate identity and its manual, we used various Adobe software such as Adobe Illustrator,
Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop.
