IZ POPOTNIŠKE V TURISTIČNO FOTOGRAFIJO

V diplomskem delu obravnavam vpliv fotografije na turistično industrijo. Potovanje in turizem sta vse bolj razširjeni dejavnosti, ki sta z leti razvili zelo dobičkonosno svetovno industrijo. V delu raziskujem, kako je fotografija zgodovinsko sooblikovala razvoj turizma, in opredeljujem ključne trenutke, ki so vplivali na oblike turizma, kot jih poznamo danes. Temo dalje proučujem skozi objektiv drugih avtorjev, ki v svojih projektih obravnavajo podobno področje. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela svoje trditve podkrepim s kratkim filmom, ki uprizarja turistično vedenje na najbolj priljubljeni turistični destinaciji v Sloveniji.

• Title: FROM TRAVEL TO TOURIST PHOTOGRAPHY

Abstract

In my thesis, I focus on the influence of photography on the tourism industry. Travel and tourism are increasingly widespread phenomena that have developed into a highly profitable global industry over the years. This thesis explores how photography has historically influenced the development of tourism and identifies key moments that have shaped the forms of tourism we see today. I further explore the topic through the lens of other authors who address similar themes in their projects. In the practical part of the thesis, I support my claims with a short film that depicts tourist behaviour at the most popular tourist location in Slovenia.
