Vpliv postavitve nizkotonskih zvočnikov na amplitudni odziv pri ozvočevanju dogodkov

Abstract
Zaključna naloga obravnava področje ozvočevanja in temeljne principe avdio tehnike, ki se uporablja pri izvedbi dogodkov v živo. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni osnovni pojmi o zvoku, avdio signalu, človeškem sluhu ter akustiki prostora, ki pomembno vpliva na zaznavanje zvoka, ter pregled osnovne avdio opreme. Praktični del naloge obravnava analizo usmerjenosti nizkotonskih zvočnikov pri različnih postavitvah in vpliv faznih ter časovnih zamikov na širjenje zvočnega valovanja. Predstavljene so konfiguracije, kot so klasična L–R, centralna, porazdeljena, kardioidna in end-fire postavitev. Analiza je bila izvedena s programsko opremo L-Acoustics Soundvision, ki omogoča simulacijo frekvenčnega in amplitudnega odziva ter smernih karakteristik, s čimer je mogoče optimizirati postavitev zvočnikov. Rezultati simulacij so bili potrjeni s praktičnimi meritvami, ki so pokazale dobro ujemanje z dejanskimi vrednostmi ter potrdile uporabnost simulacij kot učinkovitega orodja pri načrtovanju ozvočenja. Cilj zaključne naloge je prikazati, kako lahko s pomočjo programske simulacije optimiziramo postavitev nizkotonskih zvočnikov in parametre sistema, rezultate pa neposredno prenesemo v digitalni procesor signala. Tak pristop zmanjša potrebo po obsežnem testiranju na lokaciji, pospeši nastavljanje sistema in zagotavlja bolj predvidljive rezultate, kar pomembno prispeva na kakovost ozvočenja in posledično odlično poslušalsko izkušnjo.

Title:The Impact of Speaker Placement on Amplitude Response in Sound Reinforcement
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the field of sound reinforcement and the fundamental principles of audio engineering applied in live events. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of sound, audio signals, human hearing, and room acoustics, which significantly influence sound perception, followed by an overview of essential audio equipment. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of low-frequency loudspeaker directivity under different placement configurations and the influence of phase and time delays on the propagation of sound waves. Configurations such as the classic L–R, central, distributed, cardioid, and end-fire setups are presented. The analysis was carried out using the L-Acoustics Soundvision software, which enables the simulation of frequency and amplitude response as well as directional characteristics, thereby allowing optimization of loudspeaker placement. The simulation results were confirmed by practical measurements, which showed good agreement with the actual values and validated the usefulness of simulations as an effective tool in sound system design. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate how software simulations can be used to optimize subwoofer placement and system parameters, with the results directly transferred to the digital signal processor. This approach reduces the need for extensive on-site testing, accelerates system setup, and ensures more predictable outcomes, thereby contributing to higher sound quality and an improved listening experience.
