Abstract
Koledarji so eden ključnih vsakdanjih elementov slovenske kulture, recimo koledarji gasilskih društev in erotični koledarji na stenah avtomehaničarskih delavnic. Razmišljal sem o vsakdanjosti koledarja v kombinaciji z ekstravaganco drag kraljic in kraljev, s katerimi sodelujem. V teoretskem delu naloge bom raziskoval zgodovino drag preobleke v svetu in v Sloveniji, drag performans in zgodovino koledarja.

Title:Illustrated calendar of Slovenian drag queens
Abstract:
Calendars are one of the key everyday elements in Slovenian culture, such as The fire brigade calendars and the erotic calendars on the walls of car repair shops. I thought about the everydayness of the calendar in combination with the extravagance of the drag queens and kings with whom I collaborate. I decided to create a more modern calendar, which would, instead of nudes, contain stylized illustrations of real drag queens working in Slovenia. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I will research the history of drag queens in the world and in Slovenia, drag performance and the history of the calendar. I will present existing calendars with similar motifs and focus on the contribution of this type of print to the local LGBTQIA+ scene. In the practical part, I will illustrate and design a calendar with twelve pages and a cover. Each month of the year will be represented by a full-page illustration of one of the active local drag queens.
