Abstract
Prvi del diplomske naloge zajema teoretično ozadje obravnavane teme nasilja v družini in nasilja na splošno. Preko zbranih citatov poskušam razjasniti njegove oblike, pojavnosti in pojme ter poskušam postaviti problematiko v družbeni in zgodovinski kontekst. Temo poskušam razsvetliti z različnih vidikov in tako omogočiti globje razumevanje. V nadaljevanju obravnavam upodobitve nasilnega odnosa nad žensko skozi umetniška dela, preko katerih odkrivam primernost prikazovanja podob in učinek, ki ga ustvarijo.

Title:Family Matters
Abstract:
The first part of the Bachelor thesis covers the theoretical background of the topic of domestic violence and violence in general. Through the collected quotes, I try to clarify its forms and occurrences, concepts, and put the issue in a social and historical context. I try to shed light on the topic from different perspectives, thus enabling a deeper understanding. In the following, I discuss reproductions of a violent relationship against a woman through works of art, through which I discover the appropriateness of displaying images and the effects they create. The second part covers the practical implementation, moving from the initial sketches, mock-ups, presentation methods, through the production process, to the final product. The final product consists of a small glass plastic and a concrete reproduction house, which serves as a backdrop and adds depth to the work and enhances the experience.

Keywords:applied arts, fine art, glass, sculpture, violence, family, society, patryarchy, stereotypes, BA thesis.
