Abstract

Title:Sustainable development content in different educational models
Abstract:
In the UNESCO document Education for Sustainable Development – A Roadmap, it is already stated in the introduction that education has the highest priority for UNESCO, as it is a fundamental human right and the foundation on which we can build peace and sustainable development. UNESCO, as the specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for education, has taken over the leadership and coordination of the 2030 Agenda for Education, which is part of the global movement to eradicate poverty through the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The fourth goal is dedicated to education, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and the possibility of lifelong learning for all people. The education system is one of the fundamental ideological apparatuses of the state, where the process of socialization takes place through interpellation into the subject. The state can, through its ideological apparatuses, primarily the state school system, and through legal regulations, also have an indirect influence on alternative models of education, enforce and introduce the content of sustainability, if there is political will to do so. The world is on the brink of resource sustainability, so sustainable coexistence on planet Earth should be a priority. Quality education is the fastest way to educate and educate young generations about sustainability, who will help shape the world's future.
