Learnability represents one of five dimensions of usability. It refers to how quickly and easily users can acquire the basic functionalities of a system. The aim of this master’s thesis was to assess the level of learnability of the Krpan information system, which is being introduced into the Slovenian state administration as a system for managing documentary records. We addressed the research question by conducting a summative usability test, which included sessions with 14 participants at three different time points. During each session, participants performed five identical tasks that were designed to cover the core functionalities of the system. Learnability was assessed with four metrics: task success rate, task completion time, efficiency, and the learnability parameter. The results showed a gradual increase in average success and efficiency, accompanied by a simultaneous decrease in task completion time, suggesting a good level of learnability of the Krpan information system for managing documentary records. Takšen naslov je bolj neposreden in jasen.. The values of learnability parameter were negative across all sessions but gradually approached zero which reflects an effective learning process by the users. At the same time, the findings suggest that for a better user experience, it would be advisable to further improve certain functionalities in the user interface and enhance the design of training sessions.
