Božične tradicije v stripu

V magistrskem delu se ukvarjam z božičnimi tradicijami, ki jih želim s pomočjo upodobitve v stripu bolj dosegljivo približati mlajši generaciji bralcev. Tradicije in navade božičnih praznikov izbiram z bogatega področja etnografije in jih umeščam v stripovsko zgodbo, ki bralca na različne načine seznani z zgodovinskimi dejstvi božiča. Branje in spremljanje podob mu omogoči, da bolje razume sodobno praznovanje, ter ga spodbudi, da prispeva k ohranjanju kulturne dediščine s preprostimi praksami, ki jih lahko izvede doma.

• Title: Christmas traditions in comics

Abstract

In my master's thesis, I am working with Christmas traditions and I want to bring them closer to the younger generation of readers through their depiction in comics. I choose the traditions and customs of the Christmas holidays from the rich field of ethnography and insert them into a comic story that familiarize the reader with the historical facts of Christmas in various ways. Reading and following the images allows them to better understand the modern celebration and encourages them to contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage with simple practices which can be done at home.
