Abstract
V povprečju so osebe s PB dosegle nižje rezultate in imele počasnejše povprečno gibanje rok.

Title:Virtual Reality Application for Improvement of User Coordination and Motor Skills
Abstract:
Parkinson’s disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease. Currently, there is no known cure, which is why performing exercises regularly is crucial to reduce the symptoms and improve quality of life. For this purpose we have developed an exergaming application for the virtual reality headset Meta Quest 2. To evaluate our application we gathered 18 volunteers, of which the data of 14 of them was used for analysis. 8 of those were without Parkinson’s disease and 6 with Parkinson’s disease. Before evaluation the volunteers were introduced to the device and application, after which they used the application and then answered questionnaires. The answers to the questionnaires, results of each exercise and the motion of hands and head during exercises were analyzed. The general reception was positive from both people with and without Parkinson’s disease and most of the volunteers wanted to use the application again. The average score in exercises and average hand velocity was lower for people with Parkinson’s disease. By analyzing the hand and head motion, it could be possible to determine the presence of tremors, however a more thorough analysis is needed.
