The thesis deals with the process of creating photometric files on demand. Using the online configurator, the customer can select the luminaire and optics, correlated color temperature, color rendering index of the light source and the luminous flux level. Based on the selected parameters, the configurator automatically creates a technical card and photometric files that can be directly used in lighting design.
The content is divided into two parts. The first part presents the requirements of the SIST EN 12464-1:2021 standard and the configurator and its operation. The standard defines the minimum lighting conditions that ensure safe, efficient and pleasant performance of tasks. The key lighting parameters and the use and importance of the standard for luminaire manufacturers are described.
The second part deals with the LDT and IES photometric files, their structure, use and the procedure for measuring luminaires and calculations. To obtain lighting data, the luminaire must first be measured using a goniophotometer. Based on the measured luminous efficacy, it is possible to determine the coefficients for different color temperatures, color rendering indices and luminaire power using mathematical calculations. This allows us to calculate the luminous flux of different designs without the need to measure each individual version. Measurements are only necessary for different shapes of lamps and optics.
The result of the thesis is a tool that allows the customer to quickly and easily generate photometric data according to current requirements.
