Abstract

Title:Construction site organization project for a residential building in Jesenice : graduation thesis
Abstract:
The thesis discusses the construction site organization for a residential building in Jesenice. The focus is placed on site preparation and the execution of key phases that are essential for the smooth progress of the construction process. The introductory part presents basic information about the building, the location, and the technical characteristics of the construction, providing the framework for further analysis. The core of the thesis addresses the preparatory phases, including the dimensioning of transport routes, temporary storage areas, dumps, electrical and water connections, and the installation of tower cranes. Temporary facilities such as offices, accommodation containers, and sanitary units are also analyzed, as they provide the basic working conditions on the construction site. Special attention is given to the excavation of the construction pit, where difficulties were encountered due to demanding geotechnical conditions. These circumstances required adjustments to the excavation technology, the use of additional construction machinery, and the implementation of slope protection with shotcrete. Beyond earthworks, the thesis covers the execution of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. Solutions for the logistics of material supply, storage of formwork and reinforcement, and the organization of concreting in several phases are presented. The importance of work safety, efficient logistics, and timely coordination among all project stakeholders is emphasized. The conclusion of the thesis confirms that carefully planned construction site organization is crucial for the successful, safe, and timely execution of the project. It is demonstrated that proper planning and proactive measures reduce risks, increase efficiency, and contribute significantly to the successful realization of construction works.
