Abstract
V podjetju, ki izdeluje merilnike krvnega tlaka za diagnosticiranje periferne arterijske bolezni, so ugotovili, da je sedanji način kalibracije tlačnih senzorjev prepočasen in v proizvodnem procesu predstavlja ozko grlo. V sklopu magistrskega dela smo definirali tehnične specifikacije sistema, ki jih zahteva merilnik, in ustvarili štiri idejne zasnove. Sledila je izbira najboljše zasnove, pri čemer je bil poudarek na funkcionalnosti in ceni celotnega sistema. S preračuni smo natančno določili, kakšne specifikacije potrebujejo posamezne komponente. Zasnovali, testirali in analizirali smo prototip, izdelali ohišje in ga vanj vgradili. Protokol Modbus RTU nam je prek vmesnika RS485 omogočil pošiljanje ukazov iz osebnega računalnika. Izvedli smo testiranja in ugotovili, da sistem deluje tako, kot smo si zamislili v zahtevah. Na koncu smo napravo integrirali v proizvodnji sistem in s tem pohitrili proizvodni proces.

Title:Development of an automated device for calibration of pressure sensors in blood pressure monitors
Abstract:
At a company that manufactures blood pressure monitors for diagnosing peripheral arterial disease, it was found that the existing method of calibrating pressure sensors was too slow and represented a bottleneck in the production process. As part of the thesis, we defined the technical specifications required by the monitor and created four conceptual designs. This was followed by the selection of the best design, with an emphasis on the functionality and cost of the entire system. Through calculations, we precisely determined the specifications needed for each component. We designed, tested, and analyzed a prototype, manufactured housing, and integrated the components into it. The Modbus RTU protocol, via an RS485 interface, enabled command transmission from a personal computer. We conducted multiple tests and confirmed that the system operates as specified in the requirements. Finally, we integrated the device into the production system, which accelerated the production process.
