Dramsko besedilo Močnemu je treba pustiti, da se brani sam obravnava življenja treh mladih fantov iz malega mesta, ki umirajo zaradi okužbe z neozdravljivo spolno prenosljivo boleznijo. V ospredju je motiv groze njihovih razpadajočih teles, ki so komaj začela živeti, protagonist besedila pa so Valova instagram sporočila, ki ne dobijo odgovora in tekom besedila preraščajo v njegov notranji monolog. V teoretičnem delu svoje magistrske naloge obravnavam vlogo telesa v treh dramskih besedilih sodobne bosanske dramatičarke Tanje Šljivar in pojasnim, kako telesnost dramskih likov vpliva na dramsko dogajanje. Del naloge posvetim tudi edini uprizoritvi njenega teksta v slovenskem prostoru, ki jo je v PGK režirala Mojca Madon.

Abstract

Theatre play The strong must be left to defend himself is a story about three young smalltown boys who are dying because they all got infected with incurable sexually transmitted disease. Their decaying bodies are the biggest bodyhorror element of the play. Val's instagram messages that are left on seen are the protagonist of the play. His messages are during the play becoming his whole inner monologue. In the theoretical part of my master's degree I focus on the role of the body in three theatre plays by a modern bosnian playwright Tanja Šljivar and explain how physical aspects and acts of her characters influence the stories of the plays. I also focus on the first Slovenian production of Tanja's play directed by Mojca Madon.
