In my thesis, I explore the relationship between the body and space in connection with a series of works created based on the interior of a home workshop and which represent the practical part of the assignment. I begin with a brief description of the works and my approach to painting, and then the thesis is divided into two parts. Where I focus on the very creation of this space, I refer to Henri Lefebvre's book The Production of Space. In the second part, I mainly analyze Maurice Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Perception, but I also refer to Gaston Bachelard's The Poetics of Space, Mladen Dolar's The Staging of Concepts and Lacan's work The Four Fundamental Concepts of Psychoanalysis, where I focus on the perception of this space through the body.
