V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela bom raziskoval kombinacijo globokega tiska na platno in oljne slikarske tehnike. Preplet teh dveh pristopov na enem nosilcu bi tvoril osrednje delo, to pa bi skupaj z ostalimi slikami, grafikami, fotografijami in predmeti ustvarilo končno celovito umetniško delo. Prostorska postavitev kot celota raziskuje mojega deda, katerega spomin je ostal v obliki, ki mi kot umetniku ne ustreza. Predmete, ki jih uporabljam kot ready-made čez interpretacijo v posamičnih likovnih delih, spremenim in ustvarim v nove spomine na deda, ki jih prej ni bilo, da bi z zapuščino njegovega časa ustvaril omaž.

Abstract

In the empirical part of this paper, I will explore the combination of gravure printing on canvas and oil painting techniques. The intertwinement of these two approaches on one carrier would form the central element, which would, together with other images, graphic elements, photos and objects, form the final integral work of art. The spatial setup as a whole explores the memory of my grandfather in a form which does not correspond to me as an artist. Through an interpretation in artistic works, I modify ready-made objects to create new memories of my grandfather, which did not exist before, to pay tribute to him through the legacy of his time.
