Abstract
V diplomskem delu je opisana nadgradnja kalandrske proizvodne linije. Nadgra- dnja vključuje mehansko prenovo in programsko nadgradnjo. Prenova se bolj na- tančno navezuje na razrezovalne nože plošč. Te je bilo, zaradi starosti in obrablje- nosti, nemogoče precizno nastaviti, zato je nastajalo veliko odpadkov. Namesto preproste obnove smo se odločili za njihovo nadgradnjo, ki omogoča motoriziran pomik posameznega nosilca noža (pri stari konstrukciji je bil možen le motori- ziran pomik vseh nosilcev skupaj). Povečali smo tudi število nosilcev s štiri na šest. V delu se bomo osredotočili na programski del nadgradnje, njen zagon in nadaljnje posodobitve. Program je napisan kot dodaten modul že obstoječemu programu linije, napisanemu v programskem paketu STEP7.

Title:Calender production line for cutting rubber products upgrade
Abstract:
The thesis describes the upgrade of a calendering production line. The upgrade consists of both mechanical renovation and a program upgrade. More specifically the upgrade appylies to rubber sheet cutting knives. The old, worn equipment made precise setup impossible, leading to significant material waste. Instead of simple renovation, we decided to upgrade the system. New construction allows for motorized movement of each knife carrier individually, where the old construction allowed only for joined movement of all the carriers. We also incrised the number of carriers from four to six. Within this thesis, the primary focus will be on the software aspect of the upgrade, the deployment and further updates. The program is written as add-on module to existing program of the production line, written in program package STEP7.
