Vzpostavitev in upravljanje infrastrukture krmilnika domene v okolju Windows Server

Diplomska naloga zadeva proces načrtovanja domenskega okolja v podjetjih in organizacijah. Namen naloge je predstaviti načrtovanje, delovanje in funkcije aktivnega imenika, delovanje pravil skupin in ustvarjanje ter vzdrževanje domenskih uporabnikov. Pri izdelavi naloge smo uporabljali orodje Oracle VirtualBox za virtualizacijo Windows Serverja in računalnik Windows, ki je služil za predstavo uporabnika domenskega okolja. Postavili smo testni domenski krmilnik in bazo aktivnega imenika ter ju testirali na prej omenjenem Windows računalniku. Ogledali smo si tudi konfiguracijo DNS-ja (Domain Name System) in nastavitev statičnega IP naslova, ki je potreben za delovanje domenskega krmilnika. Povzeto je tudi delovanje domenskega krmilnika na operacijskih sistemih Linux in macOS.

• Title: Deployment and Management of Domain Controller Infrastructure in a Windows Server Environment

Abstract

This thesis describes the process of planning and designing a domain environment. The purpose of the thesis is to present the design and features of Active Directory, the functions of Group Policies and the creation and management of domain users. We used Oracle VirtualBox software for the virtualisation of a Windows Server and Windows client environment. We built a test Domain Controller and Active Directory environment, which were tested on the aforementioned Windows computer. We also examined the configuration of DNS (Domain Name System), specifically how to set up a static IP address, which is required for the correct functioning of our Domain Controller. There is also a brief description of the integration of the Domain Controller with Linux and macOS environments.
