Abstract
Za človeka je življenje ob vodotokih pomembno že od samega začetka. Posledica tega je potreba po urejanju njihovih strug tako, da jih prilagodi sebi v prid. V nalogi so obravnavani različni tipi rečne erozije in možnosti zaščite in stabilizacije rečnih brežin, tako da erozijskim procesom čim bolje kljubujejo. Navedeni so različni načini tako togih kot biološko inženirskih ureditev brežin. Z obravnavo erozijskih dogodkov na rekah Sori, Poljanski Sori in Meži sem ugotovila, da lahko lidarski posnetki terena učinkovito pripomorejo k oceni območij izpostavljenih rečnih erozij. Obravnavani so erozijski dogodki, ki so se zgodili ob poplavah avgusta 2023, pri čemer je predstavljenih nekaj primerov slabih in nekaj primerov dobrih obrežnih zavarovanj.

Title:Resistance of various bank protections and structures to fluvial erosion processes : graduation thesis
Abstract:
For humans, living near rivers has been important since the very beginning. As a result, there has always been a need to manage river channels, adapting them for human uses. In this thesis, I examined different types of fluvial erosion and explored options for protecting and stabilizing riverbanks to better resist fluvial erosion processes. Various methods of rigid and nature based bank protections are presented. By analyzing erosion events along the Sora, Poljanska Sora, and Meža rivers, I found that LIDAR terrain images can effectively contribute to assessing existing erosion areas. I focused on erosion events that occurred during the floods of August 2023, highlighting both poor and effective examples of riverbank protections.
