Abstract
V sodobnem digitalnem okolju, kjer prevladujejo centralizirane platforme za spletno komunikacijo, se povečuje potreba bo decentraliziranih in anonimnih oblikah komunikacije. Ta diplomska naloga obravnava razvoj spletne aplikacije, ki omogoča anonimno in decentralizirano tekstovno klepetalnico, kjer so uporabniki samodejno povezani glede na glasbo, ki jo trenutno poslušajo. Aplikacija ne zahteva registracije uporabniškega računa ali zbiranja osebnih podatkov, s čimer povečuje varnost in zmanjša tveganje zlorab. Iskanje in povezovanje uporabnikov temelji na protokolu BitTorrent, ki je odporen na izpade in cenzuro. Razvita aplikacija omogoča učinkovito identifikacijo skladb s pomočjo algoritma Chromaprint in odprte podatkovne baze MusicBrainz. Glavna prednost aplikacije je, da uporabnikom omogoča enostavno in anonimno spletno komunikacijo, ki temelji na skupnem glasbenem okusu, brez potrebe bo centralnem strežniku ali shranjevanju osebnih podatkov.

Title:Decentralized chat room based on music playback
Abstract:
In the modern digital world, where centralized platforms dominate web communication, there is a growing need for decentralized and anonymous forms of communication. This thesis presents the development of a web application, which enables an anonymous and decentralized text chatting, where users are seamlessly connected based on the songs they are listening to. The application requires no account registration and does not collect any user data, minimizing the risk of data leaks. User discovery and connection are done facilitated by the BitTorrent protocol, which is resistant to outages and censorship. The application ensures reliable song identification using the Chromaprint algorithm and the open MusicBrainz database. The main advantage of the application is its ability to enable effortless anonymous communication based on shared music taste, without relying on a central server or storing user data.
