Bivajmo skupaj : idejna zasnova stanovanjske skupnosti z novim kulturnim središčem kot širitev VDC Ajdovščina-Vipava

Ključna stebra za nastalo idejno zasnovo projekta sta splošen pojem deinstitucionalizacije in obravnava specifične lokacije. S poglobljenim razumevanjem pojma totalne ustanove in njenega delovanja je moč razumeti, kako se lahko soočimo z ukinjanjem institucij in ustvarimo podporne mreže skupnosti. Ukinjanje ustanov je sicer del vseevropskega procesa, vendar pa je pri obravnavani lokaciji na področju prostorskih danosti prisotnih veliko posebnosti. Analiza okolice tako poda smernice, ki so ključne za idejno zasnovo projekta. Modernistično zasnovana prostorska os v Ajdovščini je dopolnjena z neformalnim kulturnim centrom, namenjenim okoliškim šolarjem, in stanovanjsko skupnostjo kot del širitve Varstvenega delovnega centra Ajdovščina - Vipava. Prostorsko se objekt deli na tri različne volumne, ki skupaj tvorijo različno karakterizirane javne prostore, poleg tega pa je za napajanje javnega trga v pritličju objektov zasnovan javni program. Oblikovno stavba povzema različne tradicionalne arhitekturne elemente, ki jih prikaže na sodoben način.

• Title: Let's live together : conceptual design of a housing community with a cultural center as an extension of VDC Ajdovščina-Vipava

Abstract

The two main pillars of the project's conceptual design are the general concept of deinstitutionalisation and the specific consideration of the site. Through an in-depth understanding of the concept of the total institution and its operation, it becomes possible to explore ways to dismantle such institutions and create supportive community networks. While the dismantling of institutions is part of a broader European process, the specific site in question exhibits many unique spatial characteristics. The analysis of the surrounding area provides key guidelines that shape the project's conceptual design. The modernist spatial axis in the town of Ajdovščina is complemented by an informal cultural centre intended for local schoolchildren, and a residential community as part of the expansion of the Varstveno delovni center Ajdovščina – Vipava. Spatially, the building is divided into three distinct volumes, which together form variously characterised public spaces. Additionally, a public programme on the ground floor activates the public square between the buildings. The architectural design incorporates traditional architectural elements, reinterpreted in a contemporary manner.
