Abstract
Odgovor poskušam predstaviti preko lastne prakse, v kateri skozi indeksikalni odnos in s sklicevanjem na Didi-Hubermanovo razumevanje pojma odtisa (l'empreinte) opredelim materializirano spominsko sled.

Title:Imprints of Memory – Exploring the Theme of Memory through Intaglio Printmaking Techniques
Abstract:
This diploma thesis is dedicated to exploring memory and its materialization through the medium of printmaking, more specifically the technique of intaglio. By defining the concept of memory and its relation to oblivion, as well as its historical development and contemporary relevance, I provide a basis for understanding the central question: how can memory, as an intangible mental trace, be translated into visual artistic form? I explore this question through my own artistic practice, where materialized traces of memory are defined via an indexical relationship and the related Didi-Huberman’s notion of imprint (l'empreinte). This is incorporated into my work through the technical processes of intaglio printmaking and is manifested in its final form as graphic prints which function as units of memory – material carriers of the invisible.
