Abstract
V pričujočem magistrskem delu je predstavljena zasnova virtualnega fonometra ter razvoj in izdelava merilne sonde za merjenje jakosti zvoka. Zaključno delo se začne s teoretično obravnavo pomembnejših funkcij fonometrov, metodologije merjenja jakosti zvoka s pomočjo sonde ter relevantnih merilnih principov. Sledi podroben pregled načrtovanja, oblikovanja, izdelave in ovrednotenja tiskanega elektronskega vezja, ki deluje kot mikrofonski predojačevalnik in komunikacijski vmesnik v končnem sistemu. V nadaljevanju je predstavljena programska implementacija fonometra s ključnimi funkcijami, realizirana kot virtualni instrument v programskem okolju LabVIEW. Zadnji del naloge obravnava še modeliranje in izdelavo same merilne sonde ter programsko implementacijo v obstoječi virtualni instrument, obenem pa podaja opis in ovrednotenje izvedenih meritev.

Title:Virtual sound level meter with probe for measuring sound intensity
Abstract:
In this master’s thesis, the design of a virtual sound level meter and the development and construction of a sound intensity measurement probe are presented. The thesis begins with a theoretical discussion of the key functions of sound level meters, the methodology of sound intensity measurement using a probe, and the relevant measurement principles. This is followed by a detailed review of the design, assembly, and evaluation of the printed circuit board, which functions as a microphone preamplifier and a communication interface in the final system. The subsequent part presents the software implementation of the sound level meter with its key functionalities, realized as a virtual instrument in the LabVIEW programming environment. The final part of the thesis addresses the modeling and construction of the measurement probe and its software integration into the existing virtual instrument, and provides both a description and an evaluation of the measurements carried out.
