Abstract
Svojo raziskavo smo podprli z realnim poskusom, kjer smo s postopki 3D modeliranja in tiska, analizo kinematike robota, uporabo programirljivega logičnega krmilnika, prevajanja komunikacijskih protokolov Modbus in programiranja v okolju Franka Desk prilagodili robota Franka Emika Panda za avtonomno pripravo jedi.

Title:Robotisation of pancake baking
Abstract:
In our final project, we explored the possibilities of more frequent use of robots in households, examined existing solutions already on the market, their advantages and disadvantages, and obstacles to their wider integration into home food preparation and other household chores. We supported our research with a practical experiment, where we used 3D modeling and printing processes, robot kinematics analysis, programmable logic controller programming, Modbus communication protocol translation, and programming in the Frank Desk environment, therefore successfully adapting the Frank Emika Panda robot for the autonomous preparation of ready-to-eat meals. The results of the experimental work were positive, as the final robot was able to bake pancakes independently, spread chocolate paste on them, and roll them up, thus autonomously performing all the steps from baking to consumption. With this successful experiment, we proved that we could perform the task with the same or higher quality and speed as a human, using a versatile collaborative robot, hence demonstrating that implementation is possible. However, for wider use in households and greater market representation, improvements in reliability, functionality upgrades, and the use of cheaper robot and other more specialized components would be necessary.
