Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo izvedli prenovo vizualne grafične podobe Čili kluba Račica in v sklopu tega izdelali nov priročnik celostne grafične podobe (CGP), ki bolje odraža cilje in značaj kluba. Osredotočili smo se tudi na dogodek Čilijada, za katerega smo pripravili serijo tiskovin in promocijskih materialov, oblikovanih na način, ki odraža etnično ozadje izvora čilijev, zajema bistvo mehiške umetnosti, s čimer smo materialom dodali simbolno in estetsko vrednost. Namen diplomskega dela je bil torej izboljšati vizualno identiteto dogodka in kluba tako, da učinkoviteje izraža vrednote kluba, ustrezno informira obiskovalce ter izraža pekočo in prijateljsko naravo festivala. V teoretičnem delu smo raziskovali razlike med identiteto znamke, vizualno identiteto in celostno grafično podobo. Predstavili smo glavne elemente CGP, kot so tipografija, barve in logotip ter raziskovali vlogo uporabe kulturnega ozadja v oblikovanju. V eksperimentalnem delu smo analizirali obstoječe stanje podobe kluba in s pomočjo programa Adobe Illustrator na prenosniku HP zasnovali posamezne komponente logotipa, izbrali tipografijo in barvno paleto. Za naročnika smo v programu Adobe InDesign izdelali tudi priročnik CGP, kjer smo določili uporabo vseh elementov. Promocijske tiskovine, kot so posterji, transparenti, nalepke, cenik in grafike za objave na družbenih omrežjih, smo zasnovali z elementi, ki črpajo iz tradicionalne mehiške umetnosti. Za namen lažje predstave smo določene končne tiskovine prikazali tudi v resničnem okolju s pomočjo programa Adobe Photoshop. V postopku izdelave diplomskega dela smo prišli do ustreznih zadovoljivih rezultatov s tako oblikovalskega kot tudi uporabnega vidika in ustvarili poenoteno vizualno podobo kluba ter jim s tem omogočili boljšo komunikacijo vrednot, kar so bile tako naše kot tudi njihove glavne želje.

Title:Redesign of Visual Identity for International Chili Festival by Čili klub Račica
Abstract:
In the diploma thesis we have carried out a renovation of the visual graphic image of the Čili klub Račica and as part of this we have created a new corporate identity manual (CGP), which better reflects the objectives and character of the club. We also focused on the Čilijada event, for which we produced a series of printed and promotional materials designed in a way that reflects the ethnic background of the origin of chillies, capturing the essence of Mexican art, adding symbolic and aesthetic value to the materials. The aim of the thesis was therefore to improve the visual identity of the event and the club in a way that more effectively expresses the values of the club, adequately informs visitors, and conveys the spicy and friendly nature of the festival. In the theoretical part, we explored the differences between brand identity, visual identity and corporate graphic identity. We introduced the main components of CGP such as typography, colours and logo and explored the role of using cultural background in design. In the experimental part, we analysed the existing state of the club's image and used Adobe Illustrator program on an HP laptop to design the individual components of the logo, selecting the typography and colour palette. We also created a CGP manual for the client in program Adobe InDesign, where we defined the use of all the elements. Promotional printed materials such as posters, banners, stickers, price list and graphics for social media posts were designed with elements drawn from traditional Mexican art. To make visualization easier, we have also demonstrated some of the final printouts in a real-life environment using the program Adobe Photoshop. In the process of creating the thesis, we came up with corresponding satisfactory results from both a design and a usability point of view and created a consistent visual image of the club, thus enabling them to better communicate their values, which were our and their main wishes.
