Community-made shader packs for the popular computer game Minecraft are often focused on achieving photorealistic rendering, since the game’s own style is inherently non-photorealistic. In this work, we developed a shader pack based on non-photorealistic rendering, where lighting and contours imitate the appearance of pencil drawings. As part of the thesis, we explored the graphics pipeline of Minecraft and its modification OptiFine, and implemented the effect while considering their limitations. The developed shader pack is publicly available to all players.
