Every year, the Faculty of Computer and Information Science hosts a JobFair event, which aims to connect companies with students and promote employment opportunities and professional networking. Every year, a new webpage is created for the event with promotional material from companies, all of which must be entered manually into the webpage, which is a time-consuming and repetitive task. This gave rise to the idea of simplifying and automating the entire process.
In thesis, we tackled the automation of the problem of creating a new webpage for an annual event. First, we thoroughly examined the organizers' requirements and looked at the process of submitting promotional material. Then we set about preparing a plan for the database, back-end, front-end application, and scripts for generating webpage. Finally, we implemented all of this.
The result of thesis is a content management system that is tailored to the specific requirements of such events. This improves the user experience for both companies and organizers.
