The master's thesis explores the fields of analogue photography, contemporary poetry, and the photobook.
In the theoretical part, we briefly presented analogue photography, with an emphasis on various photographic techniques. We then defined contemporary poetry and explored the role of photography as a visual interpretation of poetry. The theoretical part concludes with an overview of key aspects of photobook production.
The experimental part includes a description of the materials used and a presentation of the working methods. We presented the photographic plan and described the process of photographing, as well as analyzed several similar photobooks. The central part of the thesis was the design of the photobook, which was based on the established concept.
The results present examples of final photographs for each photographic technique and the graphic design of the photobook, including a mockup and a physical model. In the discussion, we briefly presented the purpose of the entire project, described the findings and challenges we encountered, and outlined plans for the future of the photobook.
In the conclusion, we evaluated the proposed hypotheses and provided explanations.
