Abstract
Upoštevani so bili trdnostni, deformacijski in izbočitveni kriterij. Rezultati optimizacije so pokazali možnost zmanjšanja mase teleskopske roke ob hkratnem zagotavljanju zadostne nosilnosti, togosti in stabilnosti, kar pomembno prispeva k večji učinkovitosti konstrukcije.

Title:Mass optimization of the telescopic outer boom of a loader crane
Abstract:
The master’s thesis deals with the telescopic outer boom of a loader crane, which consists of three segments. In the first part, the structural design is presented and the main components are described. The next part contains an analysis of different load conditions, defined by the extent of the telescopic extension and the corresponding maximum design loads for each working position. Based on the results of the stress–deformation analyses, a mass optimisation of the telescope segments is carried out in the second part. The optimisation is carried out using an indirect response surface method with defined design variables and boundary conditions, taking into account strength, deformation, and buckling criteria. After completion of the optimisation, a stress-strain analysis was carried out again for the selected optimal model in order to confirm compliance with the defined design constraints. The optimisation results showed that the mass of the telescopic boom can be reduced while maintaining sufficient load capacity, stiffness and stability, which contributes to higher structural efficiency.
