Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena nadgradnja transformatorske postaje TP Naselje Za Savo iz klasičnega vodenja na avtomatizirano delovanje s sistemom SCADA. V ta namen je bila načrtovana in izdelana krmilna omara z vgrajenim RTU, ki omogoča daljinsko nadzorovanje in vodenje. Delo zajema načrtovanje vezalne sheme, izbor in razporeditev komponent ter pripravo dokumentacije v skladu z ustreznimi standardi. Izvedeni so bili osnovni izračuni enosmernih in izmeničnih tokov, padcev napetosti ter dimenzioniranje vodnikov in zaščitnih elementov. Ocenjena je bila tudi avtonomija UPS, ki zagotavlja nemoteno delovanje sistema ob izpadu napajanja. Podan je popis vseh vhodnih in izhodnih signalov ter njihova obdelava, skupaj z zasnovo osnovne logike RTU (preklop lokalno/daljinsko, medsebojni zaklepi, anti-pumping, nadzor komunikacije). Pojasnjena je izbira komunikacijskega protokola IEC 60870-5-104, ki je zaradi združljivosti in ekonomičnosti prednostno uporabljen pred IEC 61850, katerega lastnosti so tudi predstavljene. Zaključek izpostavlja praktične prednosti uvedene rešitve, kot so: krajši izpadi, večja zanesljivost in varnost ter nižji stroški obratovanja. Zaključek tudi opredeljuje nadaljnje korake do končne predaje sistema v obratovanje.

Title:Upgrade of the transformer substation TP Naselje Za Savo
Abstract:
This thesis presents the upgrade of the TP Naselje Za Savo substation from manual operation to an automated system with SCADA supervision and control. For this purpose, a control cabinet with an integrated RTU was designed and built, enabling remote monitoring and control. The work includes schematic design, selection and arrangement of components, and preparation of documentation in accordance with relevant standards. Basic calculations of DC and AC currents, voltage drops, and conductor sizing were carried out, along with the selection of protective devices. The UPS autonomy was also evaluated to ensure continuous system operation during power outages. A catalog of all input and output signals is provided together with their processing rules, as well as the design of the RTU’s internal logic (local/remote switching, interlocks, anti-pumping, communication supervision). The choice of IEC 60870-5-104 communication protocol is explained, as it was selected over IEC 61850 due to compatibility and cost efficiency, with the characteristics of IEC 61850 also presented. The conclusion highlights the practical benefits of the upgrade, including shorter outages, increased reliability and safety, lower operating costs, and defines the remaining steps before final commissioning.
