Abstract
Pripravljene vzorce sem derivatizirala in analizirala s HPLC-UV/Vis. Izvedla sem tudi validacijo uporabljene metode.

Title:Encapsulation of Active Ingredients in Cosmetic Products
Abstract:
Encapsulation is a widely used method in the cosmetic industry, involving the enclosing of biologically active substances, present in numerous cosmetic products, into nanostructures measuring from tens to hundreds of nanometers. This technology enables the preservation of the activity and stability of active ingredients, as well as their controlled and targeted release. Among the substances that can be encapsulated is the natural polyamine spermidine. It is present in all living organisms and is an important regulator of aging. It plays a key role in many cellular processes, particularly in maintaining cellular homeostasis, as it functions as an inducer of autophagy. In my Bachelor's thesis I optimized a method for the preparation of lecithin-based liposomes and performed the encapsulation of spermidine. The prepared samples were derivatized and analysed using HPLC-UV/Vis. I also carried out a validation of the applied method.
