In this thesis, we focus on the development of an application for personal finance management. Managing personal finances helps prevent overspending, where dedicated applications can be of great assistance. However, there is a lack of accessible and user-friendly solutions that would allow individuals to effectively track their income, expenses, accounts, and budgets. To address this issue, we decided to implement our own solution. Here, we present the development of a web application for personal finance management. We researched the field of personal finance, defined and gathered the requirements for the application, and designed it accordingly. In the implementation, we used modern web technologies such as Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Firebase, and Firestore. We developed an application that enables real-time transaction tracking, management of multiple accounts, creation of monthly budgets, and visualization of analytical data. Our main contribution is a functional and responsive application that helps users gain better control over their finances. The testing results showed that users were satisfied with the application and would be glad to use it in practice.
