Abstract
Contemporary shipping ports represent complex logical systems, filled with many chal- lenging processes that require synchronization and optimization of available resources. The aim is to build more optimal systems that use as few resources as possible and satisfy and adapt to the operational limitations and requirements that have been established in shipping port transport. The subject of this diploma thesis is construction, analysis and optimization of the hypothetical model of contemporary shipping port with the usage of advanced tool Any- Logic. The model is designed to follow the entire path of a container through the port system, from initial unloading from a container ship to final loading onto a train. The research in the diploma thesis will be focused on critical operational challenges that directly determine the efficiency and cost of production of the entire port system, with emphasis on optimal number of transporters in the system, despite 4 bottle neck parts of the model. The result of this diploma thesis is a comprehensive simulation model that enables detailed analysis of the operation and determination of optimal performance for the shipping port. This model is designed to serve as a tool for quantitative analysis for port managers, allowing them to make justified and meaningful decisions regarding resource allocation, maintenance planning, and strategic development.

Title:Izgradnja in analiza mrežnega modela ladijskega pristanišča
Abstract:
Sodobna ladijska pristanišča predstavljajo kompleksne logistične sisteme, kjer se preple- tajo številni operativni procesi, ki zahtevajo natančno usklajevanje in optimalno raz- porejanje virov. Ključni cilj pri načrtovanju takih sistemov je doseganje maksimalne učinkovitosti z minimalnimi viri, pri čemer morajo sistemi hkrati izpolnjevati vse po- stavljene operativne omejitve in se prilagajati spreminjajočim zahtevam pristaniškega prometa. Pričujoča diplomska naloga predstavlja modeliranje, analizo in optimizacijo delovanja hipotetičnega ladijskega pristanišča z uporabo naprednega simulacijskega orodja AnyLo- gic.Model je zasnovan tako, da sledi celotni poti kontejnerja skozi pristaniški sistem, od začetnega raztovarjanja s kontejnerske ladje do končnega natovarjanja na vlak. Naša raziskava se osredotoča na kritične operativne izzive, ki neposredno določajo učinkovitost celotnega pristaniškega sistema, s poudarkom na optimalnem številu tran- sporterjev v sistemu, kljub štirim ozkim grlom v modelu. Rezultat te diplomske naloge je celovit simulacijski model, ki omogoča poglobljeno analizo delovanja in določitev optimalnega delovanja ladijskega pristanišča. Ta model je zasnovan tako, da upravljavcem pristanišča služi kot orodje za kvantitativno analizo, kar jim omogoča sprejemanje utemeljenih in smiselnih odločitev glede razporejanja virov, načrtovanja vzdrževanja in strateškega razvoja.
