In the diploma thesis, a digital tourist guide entitled Šepet rudnika, pesem narave around Idrija and its surroundings is designed and illustrated. In addition to the guide, a business card was created, which serves as promotional support. The business card contains a QR code, with the help of which anyone can access the guide directly from their device on the go. This facilitates accessibility, as it can always be kept at hand. The emphasis is also on caring for the environment, as such and similar brochures are mostly intended for single use - you read, you see, you throw it away. Since we still wanted to connect traditional and digital marketing, we designed a promotional business card for the digital guide, which we printed, and we chose recycled paper as the printing material, thus promoting sustainability. The importance of QR code characteristics was also examined in the process; the influence of the size, contrast and tone value of the QR code on the success of reading with a mobile device. From the measurements, it was determined what size is optimal and what color contrast ratio between the background color and the QR code color is still appropriate so that the QR code can be captured and read with a phone.
