The thesis deals with the simulation and validation of the torsional stiffness of the Formula Student racing car chassis developed by the Superior Engineering team. The aim of the work was to develop a numerical chassis model capable of reliably predicting torsional stiffness and to validate it through experimental testing. Finite element method simulations were employed to analyze the structural behavior. To verify the results, an experiment was carried out in which a known load was applied to the chassis and the resulting torsional deflection was measured. The comparison between numerical and experimental results shows good agreement, confirming the validity of the developed model and enabling its use for further structural optimization.
