Analiza tehnologije izdelave in namembnost keramike iz Mengša: Izkopavanja leta 2021 in 2022

V magistrski nalogi je analizirana tehnologija izdelave keramike z najdišča Osnovna šola Mengeš – Stara telovadnica. Na podlagi opazovanja sledov izdelave, dodelave, uporabe ter makroskopskega opazovanja primesi v obrusih smo poskušali ugotoviti namembnost določenih posod. S pomočjo eksperimentalne arheologije smo preverjali hipoteze glede funkcije izbrane lončenine.

Abstract

In our master's thesis, titled Analysis of the technology of production and the function of pottery from Mengeš: Excavations in 2021 and 2022, the pottery production technology from the site of Osnovna šola Mengeš – Stara telovadnica was analyzed. Based on observations of forming traces, finishing techniques, use-wear, and macroscopic observation of inclusions in the sherds, we attempted to determine the intended use of certain vessels. Later, using experimental archaeology, we tested hypotheses regarding the function of selected vessels.
