The aim of this thesis was to develop a complex administrative interface for a treatment planning system that is simple and intuitive to use, as the primary end users are healthcare professionals. The development of the interface was challenging due to the size and complexity of the PlanOne application itself, which includes numerous interconnected components. The interface allows users with administrative privileges to access settings for default PACS endpoints, manage user roles and their permissions, switch units across the entire application, configure report settings, set inactivity timers, and perform other administrative functions.
The secondary goal of the thesis was to ensure that the interface meets regulatory requirements and is ready for FDA approval. Although the approval process is still ongoing, the final version of the interface already demonstrates its usefulness, not only for clinical users but also for the development team, as it enables efficient configuration management and supports development processes.
