Abstract
Socialni delavci in delavke izpostavljajo pomen sodelovanja s policijo, kriznimi centri in drugimi institucijami.

Title:Experiences of Social Workers in the Intervention Service at Social Work Centers in Protecting Victims of Domestic Violence
Abstract:
In my thesis, I explored the work of the crisis intervention service at social work centers, focusing on the challenges faced by social workers in protecting victims of domestic violence. I conducted a qualitative study, gathering experiences from seven social workers from different social work centers. The results showed that work in the crisis intervention service is stressful and accompanied by physical and psychological exhaustion. Social workers encounter complex cases and systemic obstacles, such as unequal pay, limited access to information, and a lack of clear legal guidelines. They emphasize the importance of collaboration with the police, crisis centers, and other institutions, as well as the significance of leadership support and teamwork. Social workers also stress the need for greater protection in the field and additional staffing. Despite the challenges posed by work in the crisis intervention service, social workers remain dedicated to their profession, recognizing its vital role in protecting victims of violence.
