Abstract
Digitalizacija postaja vse bolj vpeta v naša življenja in pomemben dejavnik v delovnem okolju.

Title:The role of digitalisation in human resources management at company X from the perspective of the HR department
Abstract:
Digitalisation is becoming more and more embedded in our lives and an important factor in the working environment. Organisations are introducing more and more digital tools into their workflows, simplifying processes and allowing employees to do less paperwork. Digitalisation is thus also being introduced into human resources management and is equally effective there too. But its presence also poses some challenges. In this master thesis, we explore its role in the field of human resources management in company X from the perspective of the HR department of a selected company X. The central concepts of digitalisation and human resource management are presented in more detail from the organisational perspective in the theoretical part of the master thesis, where the impact of digitalisation is also presented. The empirical part is based on qualitative research, where semi-structured interviews were conducted. We invited seven employees in the HR department of company X to participate and found that digitisation plays a major role in the management of human resources at company X. It is visible in particular in the automation of routine tasks, in the increased autonomy and flexibility of employees, and in the strategic role played by the human resources management function. The changes are thus reflected at operational, organisational, technological, contextual and cultural levels. This is reflected in the need to develop technical competences, soft skills and adapt organisational culture.
