Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje elektroenergetske sisteme, kako so zgrajeni, kateri so elementi sistema, kako jih analiziramo, da dobimo vpogled v stanje sistema, katere metode uporabljamo pri analizah in zakaj jih sploh reguliramo.

Title:Performance Evaluation of Frequency Containment Reserve Provision in the Power System
Abstract:
The thesis describes electrical power networks, how they are structured, what elements they consist of, how they are analyzed to gain insight into the state of the system, which methods are used in the analysis, and why regulation is necessary. In order to ensure the uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers, monitoring and control of the network are essential, as the system balance is constantly changing. The thesis also describes a project on the control of regulation units, which I worked on during my practical training at the company ELES d.o.o. The idea is to determine, based on calculated values, whether a unit that provided primary frequency control (FCR) responded correctly or not. Every morning, employees would receive a notification about the performance of each unit from the previous day. This program would ensure that providers of system balancing services are committed to the proper operation of their units. The aim of the thesis is to present the theory of network analysis to facilitate the understanding of the regulation unit program and to present the program itself along with its results.
