Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena zasnova, razvoj in evalvacija mobilne aplikacije za učenje in vadbo poliritmov, pri čemer je bil poseben poudarek namenjen uporabi polizvezde kot vizualnega pripomočka in integraciji elementov igrifikacije. Teoretični del obravnava glasbene in pedagoške osnove poliritmov ter analizira obstoječe rešitve na področju ritmičnih iger in glasbenega izobraževanja, na podlagi česar so bile oblikovane zahteve za razvoj aplikacije. Praktični del opisuje implementacijo v okolju Flutter ter tehnične rešitve za zaznavanje in ocenjevanje natančnosti izvajanja. Evalvacija, izvedena z uporabniškimi testi in vprašalniki UEQ-S in TAM, je pokazala pozitiven potencial aplikacije ter nakazala priložnosti za izboljšave, zlasti pri algoritmu za ocenjevanje, optimizaciji za različne naprave in razširitvi funkcionalnosti. Delo ponuja trdne temelje za nadaljnji razvoj, vključno z možnostjo dinamičnega spreminjanja poliritmov in metra, dodatnimi načini točkovanja ter integracijo v platformo Trubadur. Projekt je bil tudi priložnost za poglobljeno spoznavanje tehnologije Flutter in pridobivanje širših razvojnih kompetenc.

Title:Development of a mobile application for practicing polyrhythms
Abstract:
This thesis presents the design, development, and evaluation of a mobile application for learning and practicing polyrhythms, with a particular focus on the use of a poly-star as a visual aid and the integration of gamification elements. The theoretical part discusses the musical and pedagogical foundations of polyrhythms and analyzes existing solutions in the field of rhythm games and music education, forming the basis for the application’s requirements. The practical part describes the implementation using Flutter and the technical solutions for detecting and assessing rhythmic accuracy. Evaluation, conducted through user testing and standardized UEQ-S and TAM questionnaires, demonstrated the application’s positive potential while highlighting opportunities for improvement, particularly in the scoring algorithm, device optimization, and feature expansion. The work establishes a solid foundation for further development, including dynamic polyrhythm and meter changes, advanced scoring systems, and integration into the Trubadur platform. The project also served as an opportunity to gain in-depth experience with the Flutter framework and to develop broader software engineering skills.
