Abstract
Kaširni proces je postopek lepljenja poljubno potiskane etikete na zunanjo površino spiralno navite kartonske cevi ter razrez cevi na željene dolžine. Tipična izvedba teh dveh korakov je s pnevmatskimi aktuatorji. Takšna izvedba ni optimalna z več vidikov. V okviru diplomske naloge se je z namenom povečanja produktivnosti in natančnosti delovanja na obstoječem kaširnem stroju zamenjalo dva pnevmatska cilindra s servo aktuatorji. Prvi servo aktuator opravlja funkcijo potiskanja kaširnega valja na orodje, medtem ko drugi izvaja gib rezanja. Uvedba servo tehnologije je izboljšala stabilnost kaširnega postopka in povečala natančnost rezanja. Hkrati se je zaradi boljše sinhronizacije gibov in večje odzivnosti skrajšal čas posameznega cikla, kar je povečalo produktivnost stroja

Title:Modernization of the laminating process through the transition from pneumatic to servo actuators and optimization of control program logic
Abstract:
The laminating process is the process of gluing a custom-printed label to the outer surface of a spirally wound cardboard tube and cutting the tube to the desired length. These two steps are typically performed with pneumatic actuators. Such an implementation is not optimal from several aspects. With the aim of increasing productivity and operational precision,two pneumatic cylinders were replaced with servo actuators on the existing laminating machine. The first servo actuator performs the function of pressing the pressure roller onto the laminating roller, while the second executes the cutting motion. The introduction of servo technology has improved the stability of the laminating process and increased the cutting accuracy. At the same time, better synchronization of movements and higher responsiveness have shortened the cycle time, thereby increasing the machine’s productivity.
