Abstract
V diplomskem delu sem raziskoval vpliv nanosa platine na fotokatalitske lastnosti TiO₂ pri razgradnji azo barvila Plasmocorinth B. Pripravil sem več fotokatalizatorjev z različnimi količinami nanesene platine in jih primerjal s čistim TiO₂ ter komercialnim P25. Učinkovitost sem spremljal s spektrofotometričnimi meritvami in analizo celokupnega organskega ogljika (TOC). Rezultati so pokazali, da nanos platine izboljša fotokatalitsko aktivnost, predvsem pri višjih koncentracijah. Prav tako sem ugotovil, da prepihovanje s kisikom dodatno poveča učinkovitost razgradnje, saj pospeši nastanek reaktivnih kisikovih vrst. Najbolj učinkovita razgradnja je bila dosežena s TiO₂ z največjo vsebnostjo platine in dodatkom kisika.

Title:The influence of platinum on the photocatalytic efficiency of TiO$_2$
Abstract:
In this thesis, I investigated the influence of platinum deposition on the photocatalytic properties of TiO₂ during the degradation of the azo dye Plasmocorinth B. I prepared several photocatalysts with varying amounts of deposited platinum and compared them with pure TiO₂ and commercial P-25. The efficiency of degradation was monitored using spectrophotometric measurements and total organic carbon (TOC) analysis. The results showed that platinum deposition improves photocatalytic activity, especially at higher concentrations. Additionally, oxygen bubbling further enhanced the degradation efficiency by increasing the formation of reactive oxygen species. The most effective degradation was achieved with TiO₂ containing the highest amount of platinum combined with oxygen supplementation.
