Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava primerjalno analizo tandem in troosne gozdarske prikolice z uporabo metode razvitja funkcije kakovosti (QFD). Namen raziskave je bil določiti, v kolikšni meri tehnične rešitve posamezne izvedbe prikolice odgovarjajo na ključne uporabniške zahteve kot so nosilnost, stabilnost, učinkovitost in digitalna podpora. Z uporabo QFD-matrike je bila izvedena kvantitativna preslikava zahtev v tehnične značilnosti, kar je omogočilo celovito presojo ustreznosti posamezne konstrukcije. Analiza je pokazala, da tandem prikolica bolje zadosti potrebam po okretnosti in enostavnosti uporabe na razgibanem terenu, medtem ko troosna polprikolica nudi večjo stabilnost, višjo nosilnost (do 33.500 kg) in možnosti napredne digitalne diagnostike. Dodatne ugotovitve vključujejo pomen zgodnje uporabe QFD v fazi konceptualnega oblikovanja ter vpliv parametrov na občutljivost rezultatov. Diskusija potrjuje, da je metoda primerna tudi v kontekstu omejenega vzorca, če so podatki strukturirani. V zaključkih pa je priporočena nadgradnja s simulacijami (FEM) in analizo stroškov življenjskega cikla (LCC).

Title:Application of the QFD method in the comparison of a forestry tandem trailer and a custom-made three-axle forestry semi-trailer
Abstract:
This thesis presents a comparative analysis of tandem and custom-built triaxial forestry trailers using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The aim of the research was to determine the extent to which the technical solutions of each trailer configuration meet key user requirements, such as payload capacity, stability, efficiency, and digital integration. Using the QFD matrix, user expectations were quantitatively mapped to technical attributes, enabling a comprehensive assessment of design responsiveness. The analysis demonstrated that tandem trailers are better suited for operations on rugged terrain due to their agility and lower mass, while triaxial trailers provide superior stability, increased load capacity (up to 33.500 kg), and advanced digital diagnostics. Additional findings highlight the value of applying QFD early in the design process and the sensitivity of results to weighting factors. The discussion confirms the applicability of the method even with a limited sample if data is well structured. Further enhancements are recommended through finite element simulations (FEM) and life-cycle cost (LCC) analysis.
